Tick Tock

Well, the day of departure is certainly drawing closer. I will be wrapping up loose ends here and saying my final goodbyes over the next few days. I have just started packing and am not very optimistic about fitting all my clothes in one suitcase (wish me luck!) This entry is just to inform everyone that, while I do have access to email and facebook, I also have a skype account in order to call/video chat. Pre-Trip Jitters

It is about a week and a half before I leave for my semester abroad in Granada, Spain. I just got back from working in Ohio for the summer giving tours to prospective students. I had such a great time that I'm almost regretting not going back to Denison next semester... but not quite. I'm still so excited about going to Spain, although there is a lot of preparation to take care of beforehand. Right now we're working on finding a phone for me to use abroad as well as setting up a web cam so I can keep in touch with my family. I started this blog so that I can keep in touch with everyone from home and school since I doubt I will be able to call or text. In addition to this blog, however, I'll also have access to Facebook and my Denison webmail account (goebel_e@denison.edu). I would love to hear from everyone and be kept in the loop about what's going on at home as well as at school. I'll miss you all, but I'll be back soon enough... hopefully with a million new stories to tell.
